Brilliant in every possible way. Every Indian should and must see it. The Tashkent files Brilliant is the word for it.
A masterpiece by an extremely talented director Vivek agnihotri. The movie binds you.Its gripping ,engaging and makes you aware of your history. How many of us have read about our second prime minister Lal bahadur shastri
2nd October is celebrated as Gandhi Jayanti…even though it is Shastris birthday too but even our generation has no strong memory or historical knowledge about him so for future generations he would surely be a forgotten name in history
He is the most honest and humble prime minister yet his life is given a miss by historians We won the war against Pakistan under his leadership .Soon after he went to Tashkent to sign a treaty and never came back.No postmortem no inquiry. Isn’t that strange??
The protagonist Shweta Basu Prasad has done such a marvellous job. Her acting is flawless. One could feel her passion oozing out from the screen.I fell in love with her talent and beauty. She just blows away your mind. Pankaj Tripathi, Pallavi Joshi , Mithun Chakravorty Mandira Bedi Nassarudin shah are the other strong pillars who add substance. They are huge talent bombs.
I feel each and every Indian citizen should watch it . We owe it to one if the finest prime ministers of our country .We owe it to his simplicity , honesty and integrity. He gave us the slogan jai jawan jai kisan. He walked the talk and lived a simple life.
Henceforth 2 October would be Shastri Gandhi jayanti for me. I hope that the truth of his death comes out and does not remain hidden under the carpet. Total awe of the man and the movie
